Dustin Nelson
Pastor
 
Dustin and his wife Caroline have three children. Dustin’s passion is to equip God’s people for ministry through the expositional teaching of God’s Word.  Dustin is a two-time graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv in Great Commission Studies and PhD in Christian Preaching). Jessica Perez

Jessica and her husband Izzy have three children. Jessica studied Education at Baylor and has an M.Ed. from the University of Houston where she focused her studies on early childhood. Before joining the staff at FOC, Jessica worked in public education for 14 years as an elementary teacher and then as an assistant principal.

Youth Pastor
 
Brice and his wife Jeni have three children. Brice is a native Houstonian and a graduate of Texas A&M University (BS) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv). His passion is showing middle and high school students the unsurpassable joy of knowing God and living for Him. Please feel free to contact Brice by email.

Lacey Green

Lacey and her husband Matt started attending Fellowship of Champions in March of 2019. Lacey loves volunteering with the Children’s ministry and feels so blessed to call Fellowship of Champions home. Lacey and Matt have lived in Houston since 2009 and have two daughters, Kyla and Ridley. Please feel to contact Lacey by email.

Christy Edwards
Worship Director
 
Christy moved to the Champions area in 1989 when her father became the pastor of Fellowship of Champions.  After growing up in this church, she became a part of the music ministry as a vocalist.  Christy moved into the role of volunteer worship leader in 2005.  Christy’s passion is to lead people in singing praises to God and guide them into His presence as they prepare their hearts to hear His Word.  Christy and her husband, Christopher, have four children.

Jim Macari
 
Jim and his wife Gail have been serving God at The Fellowship of Champions since 2000. Jim has concentrated his service on church business, personnel, and ministry support. Gail has served in various roles supporting FOC children and youth. They have two adult children who grew up in the children’s and youth ministries and in turn, served in roles supporting worship (Jamie) and children (Christina). Jim is also a Marketing Director at Phillips 66 and Gail is an Assistant Principal at Spring ISD.
 
 
Glenn Maloney
 
Glenn and his wife Carol came to Fellowship of Champions in 1990.  They are “empty nesters” who are grateful their two daughters and their families live in the area.  Glenn was a member of our initial board and has served in that capacity since except for a brief period of rest.  He is passionate about helping people learn to do their finances God’s way.  he assists with financial, benevolence and the Lord’s Supper.
 
 
 
 
Jasper Schaer 
 
Jasper and his wife Janita have two children, Josh and Joely.  Although three of us are not native Texans, we got here as soon as we could.  Jasper’s passion is to help people connect with a deeper relationship with God, find their ministry of reconciliation to reach their community, and serve this church.  Please feel free to contact Jasper by email.
 
 
Greg Turcotte
 
Greg and Karen were married in 1998, have attended FOC since 2012 and have two adult children, Daniel and Sara. Greg’s faith journey started in Junior High School. He has a passion for marriage and men’s ministry as well as consistent involvement with church outreach including trips to Honduras. Greg is a graduate of Texas A&M University and works as a Continuous Improvement Manager. He is currently a School Program leader with Bible Study Fellowship and a Weekend to Remember Marriage Getaway volunteer with FamilyLife.
 
 
Paul Southerlan
 
 

Paul has pastored in Michigan and West Virginia, and now serves the Lord as a Hospice chaplain. As a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, spiritual formation, Christian education  and worship peaks his interest most. His wife, Toni, is Operations Manager of HCC TV and loves drama to enhance worship.  Both Paul and Toni view praise and gratitude as essential and rewarding components of the Christian life and both count it a privilege to be salt and light to the world through FOC Church.
